Have you heard of Ayuredic? I hadn't until yesterday. From the sounds of it though, it's pretty cool! It's a "Dosha" is like your life force, understanding your Ayuredic type will help you balance it out.
If you are like me, and Vata, to balance yourself out you need the opposite of your personality. For instance, as Vata, I am drawn to coll, dry, rough, light, and constant motion.
So here is how I am going to balance out my characteristics;
1. Drink lots of water
2. Eat "heavier" foods
3. choose smooth textures of foods versus something rough
4. Eat hot foods versus cold ones
5. Create a regular routine to stabilize my energy
6. Stick to a meal plan! Routine, routine, routine...
7. Stay warm with layers
8. Walk alot
9. Get alot of sleep and good rest
10. Meditate 30 minutes each day to calm my mind and enhance mind-body coordination
So far, I'm liking this plan! There is a ton more I researched. Take your test and find you Ayuredic test to find your Dosha!
